Free Rabies Vaccination in Jati Padang Reaches 96 Pets

The free rabies vaccination held in Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta on April 23-25, 2024, succeeded in reaching 96 animals, Friday (4/26).

In total, there are 84 cats, 11 dogs, and one monkey

Pasar Minggu Sub-district Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency (KPKP) Head, Ida Masni Wati said the vaccination services were held in three locations, Jati Padang Urban Village.

She explained the vaccination on April 23, 2024, held at the Asoka RPTRA succeeded in reaching 20 animals.

Then, on April 24, there were 42 pets vaccinated in the courtyard of the Jati Padang Urban Village Office, and 34 at Seruni RPTRA on April 25.

"In total, there are 84 cats, 11 dogs, and one monkey," she explained.

She hoped that the free rabies vaccination, which is held regularly every month, can have a positive impact on the health of both the animal and its owner.

"To find out the vaccination schedules, residents can access the Instagram account of the South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency," she explained.

One of the pet owners, Ryan (34) admitted that he was happy that his cat had been vaccinated against rabies for free.

"Thank you to the ranks of the South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency for this vaccination. In the future, I also want to sterilize my cats," he stated.
